NIPUN- (NATIONAL INITIATIVE FOR PROFICIENCY IN READING WITH UNDERSTANDING AND NUMERACY).
Recognizing the importance of early learning NEP 2020 states that our highest priority must be to achieve FLN ( Foundational Literacy and Numeracy) in Primary classes by 2025.
The Vidyalaya accords paramount importance to achieving foundational literacy and numeracy in primary education in lines with the NIPUN (National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy) Bharat Scheme initiated by the Government of India. This initiative involves various activities aimed at ensuring proficiency in reading comprehension and numeracy in students of the primary section.
The TARA app is utilized to monitor reading comprehension in both languages. Additionally, numeracy proficiency is promoted through activities utilizing materials like leaves, pebbles, and cards across all primary classes.
Teachers further improve their skills by engaging with NCERT courses through the DIKSHA app, aiming for excellence in NIPUN outcomes.
