Rebecca Thomas

Rebecca Thomas, primary teacher, was awarded the Divisional Incentive Award by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Jabalpur Division in 2011 for her commendable work in the field of education.

She was honored by Honorable Mr. V.K. Srivastava, the Deputy Commissioner, KVS Jabalpur Division, with shawl, quince, memento and certificate, on the evening of 20/12/2011, in the premises of Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 GCF, Jabalpur. Mrs. Rebecca Thomas, Primary Teacher, who has been continuously demonstrating excellent work by being among the children in the field of education and participating in many related activities and fulfilling her responsibilities, was honored with the National Incentive Award by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Headquarters, New Delhi.

On KVS Foundation Day, 15th December 2017, she was honored with this award by the Honourable Union Education Minister at the Ministry of Education in New Delhi. In the year 2016, the teacher was awarded the Divisional Award, the highest award of Bharat Scouts and Guides. In 2017, she was also honored with the Special Guest and Nation Builder Award by Rotary Club Jabalpur. On the occasion of Independence Day ,on 15th August 2023, She was honoured by the Ministry of Education and KV Organization Headquarters, New Delhi along with her spouse as a Special Guest to listen to the address of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and to honor him at Hotel Ashok in august presence of Union Minister and KVS, Commissioner, Mrs. Nidhi Pandey.
